Tracking Tools will run on Windows (2000/XP), Mac OSX and Linux operating systems.

* Tracking Tools is available in a StandAlone Edition that has an embedded application server

The main reason people do use Access is because it's relatively cheap compared with Microsoft SQL Server. However, Microsoft does

No. When you install the application, you can specify any existing datasource. Simply specify
the datasource you used for the demo. Please note, by default, the demo comes configured to use an embedded database.
If you want to switch the database (to MSSQL/MYSQL/ORACLE) at later time you will have to migrate your data (or start from scratch).
